Basketball Recap: Grandview Drops Highest Score of Season Against KIPP Legacy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grandview). They snuck past KIPP Legacy with a 68-63 victory on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-43 back in November.

Grandview's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jabari Strother, who posted 16 points. Deandre Nichols was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Grandview moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for KIPP Legacy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Grandview will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Summit Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. After both having extra time off, KIPP Legacy and Barstow will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
