Basketball Game Preview: Luther Knights vs. Westby Norsemen

The Luther Knights will square off against the Westby Norsemen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Luther's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Westby has been banged up by 16 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Last Friday, Luther lost to West Salem on the road by a 46-31 margin.

Meanwhile, Westby was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 43-38 to Cashton.

Westby's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Luther, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 9-3.

Luther took their win against Westby when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 51-26. Will Luther repeat their success, or does Westby have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
