Southern Connecticut Division I - East recap December 3, 2013

Notre Dame took down Hamden 43-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Christian Lupoli threw for 31 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 45 yards in the win.

The Green Knights led Southern Connecticut Division I - East in scoring this week after putting up 43 points on the Green Dragons. Lupoli ran for 45 yards during the win.

Tommy Wilson provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Hand topped Guilford.

Wilson was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 8 carries, he ran for 166 yards as the Tigers lost to Fairfield Prep. Teammate Conor Dowd added to the ground attack by rushing for 96 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Hand's Nick van Dell and Tom Wilson have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback van Dell has thrown for 2,059 yards this season, while Wilson has 46 catches for 711 yards. The Blue Devils' Philips leads the league in rushing yards with 1,531.

Cameran Tucker has rushed for 967 yards on 177 carries so far this year.

Notre Dame made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,574 from 3,776. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 43-7 victory over Hamden last week.
