Voyager Academy came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Ayden - Grifton Chargers. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by seven runs or more this season.

Jacobi Purvis was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Cameron Copley was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Voyager Academy's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Ayden - Grifton, they moved to 16-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Voyager Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against Excelsior Classical Academy on the 29th. Ayden - Grifton has also already played their next contest (against Washington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
