Lackey waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They took down the Huntingtown Hurricanes 79-61. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-49 back in December of 2024.

Lackey was led to victory by Isaiah Mansaray and Malik Gordon. Mansaray went 11-for-17 to rack up 32 points and four steals, while Gordon almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine assists. That's the most assists Gordon has posted since back in December of 2024. Tyzon Swann was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 13 boards.

Despite the loss, Huntingtown still got an impressive performance from Brady Swann, who went 7-for-11 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Powell, who earned four points and six boards.

Lackey's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points over those games. As for Huntingtown, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Coming up, Lackey will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Leonardtown at 5:00 p.m. Leonardtown has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 219 points over their last three contests. As for Huntingtown, they have already played their next game, an 84-79 win against Chopticon on the 19th.
