Basketball Recap: Atchison Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oskaloosa, Atchison was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 41-40 photo finish over the Perry-Lecompton Kaws.

The win got Atchison back to even at 7-7-1. As for Perry-Lecompton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Atchison will challenge Topeka at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Perry-Lecompton, they will face off against Hiawatha at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
