It was a good run, but Columbia Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Chelsea Bulldogs by a score of 4-3.

Kelsey Fausz was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three runs. Another player making a difference was Gianna Evans, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Columbia Central's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Chelsea, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.

Columbia Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chelsea, they will face off against Trenton on Saturday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
