            Baseball Recap: Eugene Eagles vs. Prairie Home Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Eugene). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Prairie Home Panthers  an   11-0 shutout  on Monday. The  victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.

 Sam Schulte was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  triples, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  two  runs gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Garet Wood, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Eugene  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .576. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Eugene's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Prairie Home,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-3.
 Looking ahead, Eugene will face off against Fayette at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on  an  eight-game losing streak. As for Prairie Home, they will take on Jamestown at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
