Basketball Recap: Timber Lake Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

Timber Lake's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers 67-65. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 62-51 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Timber Lake pushed their record up to 13-7 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points over those games. As for Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven], they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.
