Football Recap: Trinity Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Trinity managed to slip by Byron Nelson the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Trojans lost 38-13 to the Bobcat on Friday. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-0.

Parker Almanza was his usual excellent self, throwing for 237 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also punching in one rushing score for Byron Nelson.

Trinity's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for Byron Nelson, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Trinity and Byron Nelson will both be playing Timber Creek the next time they take the field. The Bobcat will host the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
