The South Bend Clay Colonials lost against the Concord Minutemen back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. South Bend Clay took a 35-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of Concord. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for South Bend Clay in their matchups with Concord: they've now lost seven in a row.

Freeman is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. Delilah Castaneda was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 6 rebounds.

Even though they lost, South Bend Clay were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. This was only their eighth loss (out of nine games) when they hit their own glass that hard.

South Bend Clay's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-11. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.6 points per game. As for Concord, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Bend Clay will take on South Bend Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
