Sunrise Mountain was sadly handed a defeat on Thursday, but Bryce Madison did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Madison as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Coming up, Madison and Sunrise Mountain will head out to take on Arizona College Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Madison's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Sunrise Mountain's 12-game streak of wins at home.
