Baseball Recap: Tuscola's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Tuscola's offense. They fell just short of the East Henderson Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The Mountaineers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 10-0.

Tuscola's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4. As for East Henderson, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Tuscola will challenge rival Smoky Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, East Henderson is set to square off against their familiar foe Pisgah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
