Basketball Game Preview: Osceola Kowboys vs. Centennial Eagles

Two dominant guards in Luke Mccrimon and Jayden Prosper are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Osceola Kowboys are taking a road trip to square off against the Centennial Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Monday, Osceola came up short against Oviedo and fell 72-65.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Centennial duked it out with Jensen Beach on Tuesday. The Eagles were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 69-68 to the Falcons. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (60), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Osceola will have to contain Jalen Bello as he made an impact in Centennial's last game. He went 6-for-7 from beyond the arc to rack up 20 points. Another player making a difference was Lucas Cruzado, who posted eight points and seven boards.

Osceola suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 6-4. As for Centennial, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-5.

Osceola strolled past Centennial in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 81-67. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Eagles' Jeremy Felix, who shot 63% from the field en route to 33 points.
