Baseball Recap: Bishop England Comes Up Short

Bishop England was the 9-4 winner over Bluffton when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Battling Bishops fell 5-2 to the Bobcats on Monday.

Bishop England saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Carr, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Bishop England's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Bluffton, they pushed their record up to 14-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

While Bishop England had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
