Pompano Beach can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Nova Titans 3-2. The Golden Tornadoes wouldn't have won without WYATT VAN BUSKIRK, who scored the game-winner.

Pompano Beach's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9-1. As for Nova, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-1 record this season.

Pompano Beach and Nova could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Pompano Beach (ranked 362nd) will meet Fort Lauderdale (ranked 121st) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nova will square off against NSU University at 6:00 p.m. on Monday down 382 places (401 vs. 19).
