Softball Recap: Scotland County Tigers vs. Canton Tigers

Scotland County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 10-7 to the Canton Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Scotland County of the 5-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Saturday.

Keeley Brown was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 4-for-4 with three doubles and two RBI. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits.
