Preview: Harrison Goblins vs. Pea Ridge Blackhawks
Harrison is 5-0 against Pea Ridge since August of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Harrison Goblins will head out on the road to face off against the Pea Ridge Blackhawks at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Harrison's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three matches.
Harrison put the finishing touches on their third blowout victory of the season on Friday. They really took it to Clarksville for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-3 victory at home. With Harrison ahead 28-3 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Braden Long was his usual excellent self, rushing for 339 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.7 yards per carry. Long hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for seven straight games. Harrison also got a significant boost from Jaydin Welsh, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 89 yards.
Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 17-17 at halftime, Pea Ridge was not quite Farmington's equal in the second half on Friday. Pea Ridge fell 36-24 to Farmington.
Harrison is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Pea Ridge, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 5-4.

Everything came up roses for Harrison against Pea Ridge in their previous matchup back in November of 2022 as the squad secured a 41-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Harrison since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
