Soccer Recap: Oakmont Has No Trouble Against Bear River

After failing to score in their last contest, Oakmont made sure to put some goals up on the board against Bear River on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Bear River Bruins. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Vikings' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Bear River with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Marcus Vasquez (2), Farzad Mahzooz, and Teak Barbour.

Oakmont's victory bumped their record up to 5-3-4. As for Bear River, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Oakmont is taking a road trip to face off against Marysville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bear River, they will venture away from home to take on Mira Loma at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mira Loma is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.
