Soccer Game Preview: Liberty vs. High Point Academy

Liberty is 0-3 against High Point Academy since April of 2024 but things could change on Tuesday. The Red Devils will be playing at home against the Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. Liberty has given up an average of 8.2 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Liberty fell victim to Landrum and their airtight defense last Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Cardinals.

Meanwhile, High Point Academy fought the good fight in their overtime match against Chesnee last Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for High Point Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Liberty might still be hurting after the 7-1 defeat they got from High Point Academy in their previous matchup back in March. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Red Devils were down 5-0.
