Baseball Recap: Center Line Comes Up Short

Center Line was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 18-2 to the Clawson Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss on Friday.

Center Line's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Clawson, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Center Line will take on Mott at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Clawson, they will face off against New Haven at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rockets have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season.
