There's no place like home for Northwest, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Smithton Tigers on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won nine in a row.

Northwest walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-11, 24-26, 25-17.

Northwest's victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Smithton, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Northwest will square off against Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Smithton, they will challenge La Monte at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
