While Pittsburg might've come up empty on Friday, Conner Proffitt wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the defeat, Proffitt was still balling out as he picked up 101 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 35 yards. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 73 yards.

On the year, Proffitt has averaged 24.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 11 receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 36 receiving yards.
