Basketball Recap: Ron Brown's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games + How To Watch

Ron Brown lost against Dunbar back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Monarchs fell 71-62 to the Crimson Tide. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (55), the Monarchs still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why Ron Brown lost, don't look at Derrick Harley. Despite the final result, he posted 13 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. Harley is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Praise Nwafor, who scored 13 points.

Leading Dunbar to victory were Aden Brown and Radley Strong. Brown dropped a double-double with 30 points and 16 boards, while Strong put up 22 points in addition to five assists and three steals. Deontae Brown was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ron Brown fell to 6-1. As for Dunbar, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
