Basketball Game Preview: Tri-Center Trojans vs. Glidden-Ralston Wildcats

The Tri-Center Trojans will square off against the Glidden-Ralston Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tri-Center is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Tri-Center had to suffer through a 65-29 loss at the hands of Treynor. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 258th, while the Cardinals are ranked 24th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glidden-Ralston). They blew past Ar-We-Va 62-26 on Tuesday. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Glidden-Ralston's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5. As for Tri-Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
