Volleyball Game Preview: Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers vs. Northwood Falcons

The Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers will head out to challenge the Northwood Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Calvary Baptist Academy barely beat Ruston the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cavaliers blew past the Bearcats 3-0 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cavaliers.

Meanwhile, Northwood hadn't done well against Natchitoches Central recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Falcons put the hurt on the Chiefs with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Northwood now has a winning record of 14-13-1. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, they now have a winning record of 16-15.

Everything went Calvary Baptist Academy's way against Northwood in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as Calvary Baptist Academy made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavaliers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
