Softball Game Preview: Seaford Bluejays vs. Milford Buccaneers

Seaford is 1-7 against Milford since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bluejays will be playing at home against the Buccaneers at 4:15 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Seaford fell victim to Delmar and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-0. The Bluejays just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Meanwhile, Milford faced Polytech in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Buccaneers lost 15-3 to the Panthers. The Buccaneers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Adri Fountain made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

Milford's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Seaford, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
