Volleyball Recap: Meridian Yellowjackets vs. Lingleville Cardinals

Meridian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Lingleville Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Yellowjackets of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Kenleigh Jones had an outrageously good game for Lingleville as she had 12 kills, 12 digs, and five aces. The dominant performance gave Jones a new career-high in aces. Another player making a difference was Sophie Hudson, who had six kills, four digs, and two blocks.
