Soccer Game Preview: Glendale Adventist vs. Pilgrim

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Glendale Adventist challenge the Pilgrim at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday... One thing working in Glendale Adventist's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last four matches.

Glendale Adventist's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Ojai Valley as Glendale Adventist made off with an 8-0 win. Considering the Cougars have won six contests by more than five goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Pilgrim fell victim to Beacon Hill and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Gryphon, falling 4-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Panthers haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Pilgrim's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Glendale Adventist, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1-1.

Glendale Adventist came out on top in a nail-biter against Pilgrim in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Does Glendale Adventist have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pilgrim turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
