Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Attica walked away with it. They came out on top against the Bucklin Red Aces by a score of 47-40 on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on 13 straight.

Bucklin's loss came despite strong showings from Emmy Kirk and Karlee Evans. Kirk went 7-for-15 en route to 17 points and five boards, while Evans posted 12 points and six rebounds. The matchup was Kirk's sixth in a row with at least 16 points.

Attica's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Bucklin, with the defeat, they broke their 17-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-4.

Attica wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-39 loss against Linn on the 14th. Bucklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
