Blythewood extended their postseason success on Friday against James F. Byrnes. They blew past the Rebels 8-2. The result was nothing new for the Bengals, who have now won 17 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Blythewood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for James F. Byrnes, their loss dropped their record down to 18-13.

Blythewood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Lexington on the 20th. James F. Byrnes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
