League recap: Northcott dominating on the mound for Cochranton

Cochranton's Ryan Northcott was the best pitcher in District 10 Region 3 this week. Over the past week, he had one win and eight Ks.

Saegertown currently leads the league with a 19-3 record overall and a 7-0 mark during league play. The Cardinals are 2.5 games back and in second place with a 4-2 league record.

Cochranton's pitching staff had a strong showing this week, allowing only two hits and zero walks, both of which led the league.

There were three hitters that batted over .400 in the league this week. The group was paced by Caleb Peterson, who collected three hits in three at bats for a 1.000 average.
