Baseball Recap: Grace Christian's Loss Ends 11-Game Winning Streak at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Grace Christian can now relate to. They lost 11-3 to the Regents Lions on Friday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Warriors, who until this contest were averaging 3.27 runs allowed.

Grace Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Wright, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI. Ashton Black also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Grace Christian's loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-3. As for Regents, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Grace Christian nor Regents have any future games scheduled.
