Millbrook had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Loudoun Valley Vikings on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Pioneers in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won three in a row.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millbrook will challenge Fauquier at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Pioneers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Loudoun Valley, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Woodgrove at 7:00 p.m. on September 8.
