Basketball Recap: Eureka Springs Comes Up Short

Eureka Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Alpena Leopards, falling 57-26. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-25 two weeks ago.

Eureka Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Alpena, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-17.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Decatur the next time they take the court. Alpena will head out to face Decatur at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Eureka Springs will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
