Softball Recap: Wellington Dukes vs. Clearview Clippers
Wellington never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past the Clearview Clippers 11-0. Considering the Dukes have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mallory Pickering was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Caedyn Wacker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Danica Borzy also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
