Basketball Recap: Oliver Mosman Key Part of Team Effort in Vikings Win

Pleasant Grove can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They strolled past the Mountain View Bruins with points to spare, taking the game 53-35. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2024.

Pleasant Grove's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Oliver Mosman, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 13 boards. Those 13 rebounds gave Mosman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Milo Johansson, who posted seven points and five boards.

Pleasant Grove's record is now 2-3. As for Mountain View, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Pleasant Grove will take on Timpanogos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will be up against the Timberwolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 60.2 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mountain View, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Cedar Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bruins' defense better be ready for this one: the Aviators have averaged an impressive 59.2 points per game this season.
