Football Recap: Westminster Christian Academy Skates Past Berchmans Academy with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westminster Christian Academy). They blew past the Berchmans Academy Saints 63-0 on Friday. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Saints are ranked 304th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Westminster Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.5 points on average this season. As for Berchmans Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
