Ferndale Wins 12th-Straight Thanks to Tanner Pidgeon

Ferndale picked up their 12th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Tanner Pidgeon. Pidgeon wasn't messing around, rushing for 91 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 63 yards and a touchdown while completing 83.3% of his passes. The contest was his eighth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season.

Ferndale's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats challenges Arcata at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made six total tackles (1.0 for loss).

For the year, McClurg has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 58.2 rushing yards per game.
