Baseball Recap: Tri-Valley Makes It Nine in a Row at Home

While Tri-Valley put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Meadowbrook. The Scotties put the hurt on the Colts with a sharp 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Scotties, who have now won 14 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Draven Spinks tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Brady Kaufman was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Tri-Valley's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Meadowbrook, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
