Football Game Preview: Aucilla Christian Warriors vs. Central Florida Christian Academy Eagles + How To Watch

The Aucilla Christian Warriors will challenge the Central Florida Christian Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Aucilla Christian sitting on six straight wins and Central Florida Christian Academy on nine.

Aucilla Christian's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Tuesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 33-0 victory over Scintilla Charter Academy. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

Landon La Rosa continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 196 yards and two TDs on only 12 passes, while also punching in one score on the ground.

Another reason for the win was Aucilla Christian's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Scintilla Charter Academy's QB won't forget Cooper Wiles anytime soon given he sacked him twice.

Meanwhile, Central Florida Christian Academy strolled past Seven Rivers Christian with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 54-38.

Aucilla Christian better keep an eye on Jahmari Hammonds. He was instrumental in Central Florida Christian Academy's win, rushing for 247 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.7 yards per carry. Those six rushing touchdowns gave Hammonds a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Davy Murphy, who picked up 110 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Central Florida Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 242 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive matchups.

Aucilla Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Central Florida Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.

Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Aucilla Christian has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 164.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Central Florida Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 206.1 rushing yards.
