Softball Recap: Howell Highlanders vs. Northville Mustangs
Howell lost against Northville on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Howell Highlanders fell 7-3 to the Northville Mustangs. Howell has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jada Challiss made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Bunkoske, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Howell's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Northville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Howell will head out on the road to square off against Huron at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The last three games Huron has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Northville, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Canton at 4:00 p.m.
