Basketball Recap: Memphis Comes Up Short

Memphis lost against Panhandle back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Memphis Cyclones had to suffer through a 84-9 loss at the hands of the Panhandle Panthers. The game marked the Cyclones' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Memphis has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Panhandle, they pushed their record up to 27-3 with the victory, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Memphis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Panhandle, they will face off against Spearman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Spearman: 27.2, Panhandle: 24.3) so any points scored will be well earned.
