Mio-Au Sable is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Atlanta to the tune of 74-30 on Friday. The Thunderbolts might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 44 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, St. Mary Cathedral faced Inland Lakes in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Snowbirds were outmatched by the Bulldogs and fell 47-20. The matchup marked the Snowbirds' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Mio-Au Sable pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.4 points on average over those games. As for St. Mary Cathedral, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Mio-Au Sable was taken down by St. Mary Cathedral 65-28 when the teams last played back in October of 2019. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Thunderbolts were down 43-20.
