Two dominant signal callers in Sam Early and Noah Howard are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Banning Lewis Academy Stallions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Florence Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Banning Lewis Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Woodland Park with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 27-13. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Stallions with their most commanding win of the season.

Jordan Jones continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 179 receiving yards and two scores. Those 179 receiving yards gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Florence made easy work of Manitou Springs on Friday and carried off a 42-17 win. The Huskies pushed the score to 36-10 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs cut but never quite recovered from.
This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Ryan Robinson and Damian Connors. Robinson rushed for 89 yards and one TD on only nine carries while Connors rushed for 74 yards. Robinson also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles (1.5 for loss) and defending one pass.
Florence now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Banning Lewis Academy, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.
Banning Lewis Academy was dealt a bruising 28-0 defeat at the hands of Florence in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Howard, who rushed for 205 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 33 yards and one TD.
