Basketball Recap: 17 Straight Home Victories for Ridgeline

It's playoff time, and Ridgeline had no trouble coming through when it counted. They enjoyed a cozy 61-47 victory over the Hermiston Bulldogs on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 76-52 last Saturday.

Ridgeline's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madilyn Crowley, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 13 boards. Crowley is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Cayce Paske, who went 7-for-12 on her way to 17 points along with eight boards and five assists.

Ridgeline's win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points over those games. As for Hermiston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.
