Basketball Game Preview: Norte Vista Braves vs. San Dimas Saints

The Norte Vista Braves will head out to challenge the San Dimas Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Norte Vista knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 matchups -- so hopefully San Dimas likes a good challenge.

Carter Fulton was his usual excellent self, going 15-for-31 to rack up 43 points along with eight boards and six assists. The game was his 13th in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Hugo Morales, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds.

Meanwhile, San Dimas had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 65-64 W against the Pioneers.

San Dimas' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points over those games. As for Norte Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season.
