Softball Recap: Start Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lima Senior, Start was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Rogers Rams 27-17. This was payback for the Spartans, who suffered an 18-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Start's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Rogers, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Start is taking a road trip to challenge Waite at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rogers, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-9 win against Scott on the 23rd.
