            Gray's Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They were five  points away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   69-64 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jack Britt Buccaneers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  last Friday (58), the Bears still had to take the loss.

 Gray's Creek's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Ezekiel Reed, who  made all 8  shots he took racking up 17  points and seven  boards. Reed is also on a roll when it comes to  shooting accuracy, as he's  posted one of at least 56% in the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Jayvien Richardson, who  posted 18 points and five  rebounds.
 Jack Britt's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   DeRyian Mitchell, who  went 7-for-17  on his way to 24  points and four  steals. That's the most  steals  Mitchell has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dominique Holsey, who  dropped  a double-double with ten points and 12  boards.
Gray's Creek's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Jack Britt, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a massive bump to their 9-14 record  this season.
 Gray's Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  67-58  defeat against Cape Fear on the 14th. As for Jack Britt, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  58-54  victory against South View on the 14th.
