Basketball Game Preview: Community Trojans vs. Slater Wildcats

Community hasn't had much luck against Slater recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Community Trojans will be playing at home against the Slater Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row dating back to last season, Community turned things around against Madison on Tuesday. They strolled past the Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 36-22.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Slater). They breezed by Tina-Avalon to the tune of 79-43 on Monday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Wildcats with their most commanding win of the season.

Community's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Slater, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
